Linda a comment from Angela Giles Klocke that was too good not to quote and share: "Facebook: Giving mothers everywhere the
opportunity to nag their offspring publicly since 1879."
Linda needs to find an airhorn for tomorrow's awakening -- HLCS's first day of school is a day later than most.
Linda hears, "it's not fair," and wonders how long it takes a child to learn the repeated lesson that life is NOT fair. So far, the answer is more than a decade....
Linda had a wet motorcycle ride home today; I blame Irene Berry-Denton Denton for jinxing us. At least we missed the traffic jam by Grayling today.
Linda is more than ready for her children to go back to school.
Linda does NOT have a pregnant daughter despite one of her daughters posting a status that says in part, "baby! first trimester." She is talking about being a junior and giving her schedule for her first trimester of classes; HLHS is on trimesters instead of semesters now! I hope my sister didn't have a heart attack reading that, but she did call me quickly!
Linda is no longer baking; she is now freezing. Michigan weather is NOT for those who pack light. Off to dig out her long pants and sweatshirts....
Linda was baking in her Alumni basement classroom.
