I am trying to decide what to wear to the ball. I have four choices right now, and I am asking for opinions. The dress on the right is purple not blue. The long dress also comes with a short black jacket, but I think that ends up being a bit too much black:
And before you decide, here are the dresses from the side. I took pictures from the back too, but I’m not going to put those up.
So what do you think?
Should I still be shopping?
Note: The hair is just messy. The boots are just the boots I was wearing today and not the shoes I’d be wearing.
Note #2: My husband said that it looks like different people because the size of me isn’t consistent. That is because of my photographer (my daughter). I didn’t try to fix it in Photoshop either. Sorry. It is what it is.

That is a tough call, because they all look really good. I guess since you are forcing us to choose, I would say the two the stand out the most are the short black one (awesome arm cutouts!!!) and the short purple one…gives you an awesome shape! They all look GREAT!
I choose C, but with something bright up by your face, like a boa. Go to Jo-Ann’s or some other fabric store and ask to see what they have that is feathery or filmy or glittery, or something.
You look darling in all of them, by the way. You certainly have done well, and it has lifted your mood, too, though I never noticed that your mood was low before. I just see it now that you are more “up”.
I like the arm cut outs on the black one too, but I think it is still a bit too short for me.
If I wear the long black one, I can’t wear that jacket. It makes it too dark and boxy, in my opinion. The downside about that one is that I would have to wear a strapless bra. The other choices let me wear a “real” one. LOL
Found you thorugh NaBloPoMo. As a random stranger, my opinion is the purple dress is the most flattering. The short black is too short and the long black is too long. The purple is a great length and shape. With some heels, your legs will look awesome and the color suits you well. Just my opinion. Congrats on the weight loss and enjoy your ball!
