I have been awake for a couple of hours, and I haven’t technically gotten dressed yet, but I already am pretty sure that today will be better than yesterday.
Yesterday just wasn’t going well. It was almost as if it was a Monday. Let me share why:
1. I had to totally redo my schedule and drive my daughter to the orthodontist where I paid $500 for a 15 minute appointment. The drive took about an hour (there and back). Of course, the $500 was for more than just the appointment but still.
2. My mother-in-law had unexpected surgery. And really, this just proves that my day could have been a lot worse. After all, I wasn’t having unexpected surgery. Still, it was a bit shocking to find out. She is recovering well and hopes to be party-ready by her birthday Friday.
3. My oldest child started taking her level 2 driver’s license classes.
4. I saw my mom for the first time since early January. OK, this one can easily be misconstrued. I am glad I saw my mom, but I am sad it has been since Jan. 7 since the last time I saw her. Plus, we were only able to spend a couple of hours together while we waited for Autumn to get out of driver’s training class.
5. Someone threatened me. One of the threats was that he was going to pursue sexual harassment charges against me. ***BOGGLE*** I did NOT ask what I might have done because I did NOT do anything and asking would have been poking the crazy bear. It is definitely a crazy bear situation. I suspect the man may have meant to say “gender discrimination” but even then, no. No.
6. And then the day ended, and I didn’t snore, and TODAY started MUCH better.
