Should I be worried?

After picking up the mail today, Amanda asked if she could open a card. I said yes.

After she opened it, I realized the card wasn’t addressed to me like I thought but rather to Amanda’s little sister. When I realized this, I told Amanda, “You just opened someone else’s mail. That is illegal!”

Her reply:

“It’s not the first time I’ve done something illegal.”

She didn’t even have to think about it!

It is confirmed, I now have two teenagers to worry about!

She did explain though — she mentioned she rode in the back of a truck before (in a parade and on way to parade), and she has driven vehicles but does not yet have a license.

And so my brief worry about my daughter’s rebel nature turned out to be a waste of time. What’s more — it seems that her parents are the only bad influences in her life right now.

Whoops.
