Goal — running 3 miles in 9 weeks

I am committing to the podrunner interval program.

I can’t find Steve’s iPod, and Autumn lost her old iPod, so I do not yet have an iPod to download the podcasts to, and Autumn won’t let me use her Zune.

This won’t stop me. I have a laptop, and I have a treadmill, so I am going to start by using my treadmill as I listen to the podcast.

I am using the First day to 5K program. It’s free. I don’t plan on actually entering a 5K, but we shall see.

After using it:

If you are considering using a podcast, I highly recommend you download the ENTIRE thing before using it rather than just use it while live streaming. Otherwise, at about 12 minutes in, your play button will catch up to the download of the live stream and leave you hanging in the middle of a run section. Just saying. You are welcome.

Also, if you are using a treadmill, you will still need headphones, or you won’t be able to HEAR the podcast. Or maybe my treadmill is just unusually loud? You decide.

I think I may have to do the first week twice. I don’t have a problem with that, but I will reevaluate after the first week is done.

And I still need to find my missing shoe.
