What a View! Not!

The other day, my oldest daughter was exercising on the Wii Fit, and I was doing my exercises alongside her. It made it fun, and it also added some variety to what I normally do because she tried some exercises that I’ve never done before like the push-up and the side plank. I’m sure my attempts were amusing. I have never been good at push ups.

After the warming up, she did some step aerobics, and she only messed up a couple of times. I am a pro at step aerobics, so I had no trouble keeping up with her despite her being 22 years younger.

Next, she was doing the hula hoop competition. She stood on the Wii Fit board and looked to me like she was being controlled by someone against her will. Her hips went forward and backward without a whole lot of circular motion. I was next to her making my own imaginary circles. I could feel how the circles worked out my ankle, and I was pretty happy about it.

The daughter and I were laughing at each other, but it turned out it was my mom who had the real view. She was sitting behind both of us on the couch, which put her at eye level with our gyrating hips. It was quite the show. I’m sure it didn’t have anything to do with the problem with her eye she had just a few days later that resulted in emergency surgery.

It is June 1, and it is my 34th day using the Wii Fit. I have 18 hours and 29 minutes of Wii Fit credits.
