It has been 10 days since I started working out using the Wii Fit. For a video game, it really does put you though the paces. I manage to work up a sweat, and I have sore muscles afterwards.
I try to start off with some yoga, and then I move onto strengthening exercises before doing the bulk of the workout in aerobics. I finish up with balance.
Today I made it through all 8 balance levels for the event where your mii is just a little ball, and you have to roll around on the various trays.
My favorite aerobic exercises are probably the advanced step and — surprisingly — advanced boxing. I like that it gets my whole body moving.
I’ve been trying to figure out why I like Wii Fit, and I realized there are a lot of reasons. The first is that I don’t have to watch someone with a perfectly sculptured body while I work out. I also like that it keeps track of everthing for you.
Not as endearing is when it tells me “That’s obese,” but I can’t complain too much because it is telling the truth.
