Apparently, my daughter’s boyfriend is the FASTEST hickey giver in the East. If hickey-giving were a timed event, he would be a winner.
I noticed the first hickey Wednesday at her softball practice. This weekend, however, she boasted another hickey on the front of her neck. A new different hickey. This one was apparently received in the time that school ends and she gets on the bus to go home. It couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes.

I have been struggling with restoring my database for this blog. I have the database. It exists, and I haven’t lost any of my old posts (which date back until 2004), but I can’t figure out how to get the posts to appear here without problems.
When I try, I end up getting errors. And it is frustrating and time consuming, and I had to spend most of my time this weekend grading papers.
And so I do not have archives at the moment, but they will return! But probably not before next week. This week is too full of stuff to take the time.
