I think perhaps that you need to take a step back and look at this from a holistic point of view… in the grand scheme of things … is this SO BAD? Will this matter in ten years? And I’m not saying that because I think you are doing anything wrong… I think you are doing things right.

For what it’s worth… I spent many hours in the middle of the night on the phone with my husband… he worked nights and I’d wait up until I knew it was his break time. I was in Alberta, he was in Indiana… then I’d call and talk for at least an hour.

And that was in 2004. LOL

well i think you better keep that if he becomes preident it might be worth some money.I don’t remember anything. I do know that you ended up with all our dolls you must of had 2 dolls of each kind one of kari’s and one of mine.Jessica is spending the night tonight she is going to have to have outpatient surgery in the morning to get her tubes tied.

No, your kids didn’t really break anything of mine. They just touched my stuff or wanted to touch my stuff, and I didn’t want them to. Most of the time though, I loved messing with them and bossing them around. I remember making Jessica cry when I wouldn’t answer her because she called me Linda instead of “Aunt Linda.”

Although Jessica did scribble all over the original envelope that my thank you letter from John McCain came in after I had sang at some event for him in Arizona. I still have the letter, and I was in sixth grade at the time, and I sang in the school choir. Jessica must have been about (11-6) five years old at the time.

REMEMBER WHEN DAD SAID I HOPE YOUR CHILDREN GROW UP TO BE JUST LIKE YOU.I DON’T THINK MY KIDS BROKE TO MANY THINGS OF YOURS .THEY WERE PRETTY GOOD WITH THERE THINGS AND OTHER PEOPLE’S THINGS.I WOULD GET REALLY UPSET IF THINGS CAME UP BROKE NOW I MIGHT BE WRONG WAIT TILL I HERE THE STORIES FROM MY KIDS THAT I FIND OUT WHEN THEY ARE OLDER.

Oh, and ditto on this punishment not being any fun. When you punish your child by ending unsupervised time, the child isn’t the only one being punished.

Yes, she will be getting the internet back before the phone, but you shouldn’t expect an offline MSN message from her anytime soon. She will be offline until the end of this month at least, and we will be camping the week of July 4th so….

Yea, I know, not supposed to be on the internet, but it’s alright because my mom is sitting right beside me, and this is the only thing that I’m doing.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, just because I’m on the phone that late at night doesn’t mean anything. Though hopefully I’ll be able to figure this entire situation out. And I’m getting the internet back before I get the phone back, so for those of you who want to know, I’ll probably send a message through offline messages on MSN if you’re on my contact list. Not that I’m going to tell everyone.
