I was sitting on my couch with my laptop on my lap. Steve was on the other couch watching TV and I was semi-watching TV in between moving my mouse around on my laptop.
"Why are you playing Spider Solitare when you have so much to do?" Steve asked me.
To which I replied, "How did you know I was playing solitaire?"
He didn’t answer. But he was right.
And then, last night, instead of sleeping all through the night I kept waking up. And do you know what I was doing? I was composing my homework in my head. The homework I didn’t do yesterday in favor of playing solitare. The homework that is due this afternoon around 4ish. The homework that is pretty much all done in my head, but still needs to be typed up on the computer. And then printed out. All before 1 p.m. when I teach class.
So how did he know?
