I woke up this morning and I had heard the rumors (weather forecasts) but I was hoping they were wrong. They weren’t. We have snow. Enough snow fell overnight that I didn’t see any ground patches poking through.
Last weekend it was 70 -75 F degrees here. Today, 35 F with snow. S-n-o-w!
I’m not sure I want to give up my camper for my snowmobile yet. I’ll let you know.

I’m an evil, evil woman
Joshua and Heather were so excited this morning that they could wear their boots, winter coats, and cloves. We had to leave early to go to the bus stop so they could catch snow flakes on their tongues. So I stood out an extra 10 minutes early for the bus. It just doesn’t have the same appeal to me as it used to.
We’re living on borrowed time up here, I think the average first snowfall is September 25. So far so good.
Now see, I created bad karma. I stopped here this morning, read this, and had a little giggle. And thought, wow, will Oldest change her mind about going to college there when she realizes they get snow in mid-October?
And then, well, you know what happened here this morning.
